A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Wendy Reed Randall has spent most of her career educating, counseling, and inspiring others to persevere beyond life’s challenges. She knows how easily circumstances may overpower one’s potential. Wendy’s Christ-centered global mindset motivated her to become fluent in French and Spanish. Today, Wendy serves alongside her husband in ministry and missionary work worldwide. While serving with a local ministry in Mazatlán, MX, Wendy was moved to have her book translated into Spanish. Once There Was a Girl: A Memoir was translated into Spanish, Habia Una Vez Una Nina: Una Memoria.
Regarding her career and education, Wendy has worked as an educator, licensed clinical addictions specialist (LCAS), and in missionary work. Also, Wendy has actively mentored others and is now sharing her book and message through motivational speaking events. With a global mindset and love of other cultures and languages, Wendy has maintained fluency in both French and Spanish. As an undergraduate from Dillard University (New Orleans) with a bachelor’s degree in French and a master’s degree in adult education from National-Louis University (Chicago), Wendy strives to encourage others to remember that “you are not your circumstances.”
